What should I expect in a Pit Pad?
A Pit Pad is a 'Normal House' and should come fully stocked with everything you need except for your food and toiletries.
For example, our Pit Pad at SanAntonioPitPad.com has a Propane BBQ Grill on the patio, 72" TV in the downstairs living room, a 70" TV in the upstairs space, Ping Pong Table (with Pub Style tables/chairs nearby), a spot for Darts (with another Pub Style Table for your drinks), and each room is furnished with a Queen Size Memory Foam Bed, Ceiling Fan, Dresser, 42" Smart TV ( with HBOMax ) and a Study Desk with Leather Chairs and of course High Speed Wi-Fi.
For privacy, we have secured each bedroom with electronic locks. Apparently, not every pad does this, but based on my son's experiences staying in PitPads while he went through PIT, I thought it was an important feature. Yeah, I know, you're all officers, but still. It's nice to be able to lock your room when you want.
